Pet Portraits | Black & Grey Portraiture | Wildlife & Nature RealismMy story began as soon as I could pick up a pencil. Drawing quickly became part of my identity and eventually evolved into what I live for—interpreting the world around me through art.
I began tattooing in 2006 at 19 years old, devoting myself to learning and refining the craft. Nearly two decades later, tattooing has given me more than I could have imagined, and I do my best to return that through the work I create and the people I’m lucky enough to share it with.
Time has refined my approach, but the purpose remains the same: creating meaningful work and bringing each client’s idea to life.
I’ve been tattooing professionally since 2019, but my love for art started much earlier—apparently with drawing all over my parents’ apartment walls at two years old. Over time, that evolved into a passion for realism and eventually tattooing.
Realism remains at the core of my work. I’m meticulous about fine details and texture and drawn to high-contrast imagery that feels visually and compositionally striking. I work in everything from micro and large-scale portraits to fine line and illustrative tattoos.
I especially enjoy high-fantasy, science-fiction, horror, mythology, and ancient history. Whatever the subject, I love creating detailed, original work that feels unique to each client.

Art has been part of Mono’s life since childhood, when she first learned to draw and paint from her grandfather in Mongolia. She later studied architecture and pursued an MFA focused on oil painting before finding her way to tattooing in 2022.
Her background continues to shape her approach to composition, balance, and fine detail. She specializes in fine line, floral, blackwork, and illustrative tattoos, often drawing inspiration from Mongolian art, ornamentation, symbolism, and traditional linework.
Whether delicate and minimal or more detailed, Mono creates thoughtful, custom work designed to feel natural on the body and personal to the individual wearing it.
